New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I would say the weight savings and strong SDV6 should give a better experience than a currentl TDV8 but that is just going by the numbers. I would suggest to drive them both one after the other to see how much of a difference is there.

As for buying new, I always like it when other people take that first big hit of depreciation. In all honesty, I would never buy a new car unless I would be absolutely loaded, I have driven a lot of new cars (rental cars) and to be honest they don't differ from the rentals with 20/30/40,000 on the clock.

Hope this helps Wink MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

One of the biggest obstacles the L405 has to overcome is the woeful quality control that Solihull seems to think is acceptable in a luxury car. Halewood's output has been a real eye-opener with my very very early production Evoque delivered on launch day. Nothing other than a poorly designed door seal has gone wrong/ fallen off or rattled in 12 months and 11200 miles, unlike any of my previous FFRR's or RRS's. If L405 can be built with the quality of Freelander2 and Evoque then Solihul will have it cracked and they will sell and sell and sell. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Well, I have been talking to my dealer and it appears that they have sold all their first year allocation already. I put my deposit down last September so I think I will go ahead and put in my order when I can. Otherwise it will be 2014 and thats just too long to wait!

I have almost decided to go for the 3.0 litre rather than the 4.4. My decision was helped but the Chancellor of the Exchequer as he would like me to give him an extra £100 per week BIK tax for the privilege of having an extra second 0-60. I think I might go for the Autobiography which has everything including massaging seats!! Although the BIK will still be high at about £1200 per month tax all in as a company car - I just can't justify nearly £1650 per month tax.

The new car will be as quick as my current 4.4 so thats OK for me, I really don't need 6.4 seconds performance.

I'm not worried about LR reliability now, I am totally convinced they have sorted that out, my current car is superb and I am sure they do not want to screw this launch up.

WIll let you know how things go.
