Doe anyone know what they are for an L322 circa 06-09 MY please?

Also if they have them for the D3 as well?

Im guessing they quote such numbers in the offroad height instead of road height as well?? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

For the L322:

Approach angle:

Standard Ride Height: 29 degrees
Off Road Height: 34 degrees

Breakover Angle:

Standard Height: 130 degrees
Off Road Height: 120 degrees

Departure Angle without tow hitch:

Standard Height:24.2 degrees
Off Road Height: 26.6 degrees


Departure Angle with tow hitch:

Standard Height: 15.2 degrees
Off Road Height: 17.4 degrees

Can't help with the Discovery 3 I'm afraid.

Always wondered:

If you take on a 30 degree incline, you can get up it all right at the front (or get down it) but you are very likely to bang the rear of the car because departure angle is less. Notcied this as a problem when seeing FFRR's taking on obstacles in videos. Or am I missing something? .

I think the larger approach angle is to allow you to back out if you find the rear is going to scrape, thus ensuring you don't rip both the front and rear bumper off?

The departure angle has always been the Range Rovers achilles heel thats why folks shorten the rear on Classics and they will probably do the same on P38's and L322's when they are more affordable for serious off-roading
And a towbar makes it worse. Mine was a blue one!

Not worked this out exactly, but you can approach a 30 degree slope with the front, and OK, if its perfectly "flat" and consistent, you will have an issue when the rear comes up, due to the lesser departure angle,.......

.........but in the real world, the front wheels will only have to drop down a small amount and due to the fulcrun effect, as the car "pivots" on the rear axle, the back of the car will pivot upwards, the departure angle of the terrain is thus reduced, if you see what I mean.

Its only a real issue if you decide to reverse out of a situation.
