Colour Coding the Door Handles

I have a local paint shop who will be doing a colour coding on the side grilles. I'm thinking about having the door handles done. Has anyone done this? It the paint robust enough? I know PowerfulUK do clip on things but I'm not too keen on that idea.

The powerful covers were designed because the original handles had too much wax in the plastic so could not accept being painted (as well as for ease of fitment)

Put in basic terms, the handles will normally chip like hell, paint will come off with finger nails, rings etc... That will happen even more with "non manufacturers paint" over the top...

Just a thought, paint a set of powerfuluk ones and then fit them! Save a load of money and grief...

i had a set of door handles supplied by landrover FOC due to a mix up in the standard grey colour, any way they supplied me a new set of handles painted in java black, they painted them and said that pre painted handle were not avalible it's the standard one's that get painted to order even at the factory.
may be they use an additive in the paint. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Booked the car in to have the four door handles colour coded. They will be stripped down completely and resprayed. £100 inc Vat each.

This is at the same time as having the lower panels below the grills replaced and painted due to changing the front mud flaps to accommodate the AB side cills. £280 inc Vat. Current MY2020

Look forward to the pics.

Whilst I was speaking to the body shop, they asked if I wanted all the pillars painted in the body colour, I.e. gloss black as opposed to the Matt black. I declined, but it has now got me thinking, just how that would look. Anyone had this done? Current MY2020
