2015 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Santorini Black
Mud flaps

Hi Just purchased a 07 TDV8 and had a couple of queries regarding the mud flaps

1. Rear - there is a bolt missing which should be drilled into the rear bumper resulting in the mud flap not sitting flush with the body work. Is there a mud flap fitting kit I can buy to obtain the fittings and do I just drill the rear bumper or is it more complicated ?

2. Front - One of the front mud flaps has rubbed a line in the paintwork. Is this normal and do you think if I refit the mud flap I could hide the rub line or should I get the mark painted ?

Pics will follow once i get it

Can answer for 1.

1. You can probably get away with just using a suitably sized M6 or M8 bolt and nut with good washers on both ends. You will have to drill a hole in the plastic bumper and it is a bit of a fiddle to get on the inner end, but doable. There should be two bolts to fit on each side to get a good flush fit. Check my gallery for howto on an '02 http://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=510 although yours being post '05 may be slightly different.

2. A photo might help to get advice .

Answer 2. The rub is normal. A new flap will hide the rub. If not, it will need the lower panel resprayed. Current MY2020
