United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Fuji White

Hi everyone.
I'm Roger, picking up a 06 Vogue TD6 on Thursday from Guy Salmon in Bristol. Traded in the Disco3 after 5 years of really trouble free motoring. I'm hoping the RR will repeat that. I've been a LR nut since 1988 with my first RR classic and been with then ever since with a various assortment of models through the years. Abit sad I suppose.

Cheers Roger.

Germany 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Hi and greetings from a RR fan in Germany. I'm from the UK and have always loved RRs. Recently I've finally been able to own one. Since May this year I'm the owner of an '08 L322 Vogue (LHD) in black. For a four year old car it was pristine inside. However, it's already cost me a new front axle, battery, two rear shocks, TPMS control module, two turbo intake pipes and two front screen (A-pillar) finisher plates. Other that that, it's fine Laughing I now understand the whole "owning a Solihull product is a way of life" thing.

I swapped the stock 7-spoke rims for 2012 ten-spokes and had mud guards fitted to try and protect the paintwork which is in very good order.

It drives great, though, and I've already driven to Austria, Switzerland, northern Italy, the French Alps and the UK without any problems. I'm hoping it stays that way Smile

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

Hello all. Just a quick introduction prior to me collecting my 2007 RR 4.2 S/C. having spent the last few years nearly buying one (and chosen a random selection in between including Cayenne, Rav4(?), Lexus RX and Audi S6) I have at last taken the plunge and will be heading up to Farnell's in Bradford tomorrow am to collect.

They are currently fitting some new 2012 Westminster wheels but otherwise all standard spec. The site looks great and no doubt will be posting in due course. Thanks
Bob

Another Aberdeenshire Newbie

Just a quick line to introduce myself having signed up to the forum. My name is Nick (the user name is The Fat Controller, not the other one! Laughing ) and I have had Land Rover products for over 30 years. I started with a S2a Land Rover, had several S1, S2, and S3s, a 90 V8, a 110 TDi and many many Classic Range Rovers. I currently have a low mileage '74 3 door (which I will restore one day, honest) and a Disco TD5. Over the years I have slipped away from the fold and owned and driven just about every larger 4x4 available, including a UMM (surprisingly good) Hilux, L200, Shogun, Patrol etc but always keep coming back to LR Products.

My primary use is for towing long distances (I am a car nut, and regularly travel up and down the country with a large Ifor Williams on the back) and during the winter as I live approx 1 mile from the nearest road, my 4x4s get used for their intended purpose. Admittedly, last winter I bought a 4x4 tractor to plough the drive as I get stuck a few times every year, despite aggressive tyres, and of course since buying it we have had no snow!

My Disco is a '99 model with 110k miles, and I have had it about 4 years since 72k and it has been pretty darned good. However, this year I had to replace the clutch and dual mass flywheel, so I am now thinking of getting a newer replacement tow car. I do not use the 4x4 for general use, I have plenty of other cars to use for that, so have been looking around at what is available.

I have decided that probably what I want is a TDV8 Vogue SE, but with a budget of about £25k will be a 3.6 as I would prefer a lower mileage one which will last me 10 years or so with luck. I do not really care about colour, but would prefer not silver, but if the right one came along, that would not matter. So, I thought I would join the site and find out what to look for and what to avoid, so any advice is always welcome.

If that has not sent you to sleep, I must try harder, but that will do for this post. If you are really unlucky, I will tell you about the other 20+ cars in my collection (how did you guess I am single? Laughing ) Using LR Products for over 30 years!

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

Hi Nick, welcome to the forum. I am new myself and have just recently bought a 57 vogue (not a SE) with extras and 45k for 22'000 private. Your budget should get you a nice SE with low miles. Good luck hunting

Thank you for the welcome guys.

I am busy looking around all the usual sites, but currently stuck offshore so no point in getting too excited about any particular example. In approx 3 weeks time however... Laughing Using LR Products for over 30 years!
