Just to be clear, I LOVE ( L O VEE EEE LUV) my TDV8 Vogue SE. It has every toy I could want and it drives beautifully. I do a fair amount of working abroad and its always a sublime car to carry me home on the looOOOnnng journey from Heathrow.

As you know what i previously had Adam , i got the 2010 model and have to say it got me back into liking the FFRR as i was getting a bit bored with the SC what with previously having the TD6 as well and FF's to a point …

Seems to me that your concern over potential problems will still knaw away at you regardless of what you do with the exterior and that any changes will only buy you some time before you eventually decide to change.

A vote for 1 and 5 from me. Hang on and wait for more price drop when the new one comes out and get better value for money out of a new purchase and your current one won't lose as much as a newer model would.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Option 1 unless your car goes bang in a big way. If you plan to shell out for turbos / diffs in the next 40k you car should last for quite a few years more. |

I'm in the same boat as you. I love my 2007 FFSC, but it's coming up to 90,000 miles.

Having had a 2008 and now a 2011 I think I would go for option 5 and as others have said just wait a little to get the maximum value from the L405 launch. The 4.4 engine with the 8 speed box, the improved dash and more modern looks will make you wonder if you dont. The only downside other than the cost is the seats are not as comfortable as the ones you have now. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Are the seats in the MY10 even worse then?

Probably best bet but I am afraid mileage is like a Cancer on values it just keeps eating away at it in addition to the car getting older.

I'm not so sure. With the current FFRR already starting to look dated after being made for over 10 years I think the best time to buy a MY10 could be in a year or two. By then it'll be less appealing as it'll be old fashioned, heavy, thirsty and have high road tax compared to the newer, lighter, faster, more modern new model. |
