Diagnostics tools to clear air suspension faults?

What are people's thoughts on the various tools? It seems their are at least 3 at the moment which all come in at very different prices and features offered.

Has anyone got one for sale that they no longer need in Lancashire? Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue

It seems that every forum has a different view on what diagnostic kit is best.

Disco 3 rave on about Black Box Solutions' Faultmate/FCR
Here now seems to like the IIDTool

I have both a FFRR and a Disco 3 so have a Hawkeye with both vehicles' codes and seeing as it is not VIN tied, can assist anyone who comes over as I have done a good few times.

Once the CCF has been personalised, then IMHO any premium of a Faultmate has been lost & if you then change vehicles, BBS will charge you to transfer vehicles.

All a matter of personal taste Thumbs Up Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Agree with you there Jim Thumbs Up

When I bought my Hawkeye, none of these CCF editing machines were available so I got the one that suited my needs (both a FFRR and a D3) and as a bonus, I can help others - the philanthropist in me you see Wink Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I have the All Comms from the Legend that is Storey Wilson....

I couldn't stretch to a IIDTool at the time so the All Comms does what I need it to thus far.

I will look into the IIDTool once the funds have been restocked after buying the car!

I'm with Stan & PaulB & others. IIDTool for me. Steve & Pat give great back up service. Not that BBS Faultmate is a fantastic bit a kit as well. But very happy with my IIDTool

I have RSW All Comms.

I may have considered the IIDTool, but had already bought a second hand laptop to plug into the car, and I have the LCD display problem on the instrument cluster, so couldn't have used IIDTool anyway.

Will revisit the situation if I get the instrument cluster sorted.

The IIDTool does look a very useful piece of kit.......
