Thanks Meerbusch. But have flattened battery twice now. Doesn't seem to want to prime properly for some reason. Will have another go tomorrow.

Maybe there is a blockage in the new filter? Try putting the old filter back on. |

Always fill the replacement filter with clean diesel before fitting and attempting to start! Otherwise you put a huge strain on not only your battery but your starter motor and the rest of the electrical systems...

Have blown through filter both ways. So I dont think there is a blockage.

if you can take the feed to the filter off and no diesel comes out when you turn the ignition on then it wont make a difference if he fills the filter or not, the system needs to register low pressure at the filter head to start. just because the low pressure pumps are running doesnt mean they are pumping, start by removing the feed to the low pressure pump infront of the rear wheel and turning the ignition on to see if diesel flows. if it does the problem is with the secondary pump, if it doesnt the problem is the intank pump. time to get dirty, |

All go now. Reverse filled inline pump. Refilled fuel filter & IP. Cycled ignition a few times, pump sounded different as if it was working this time . Fired into life first go. .
