United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Alaska White
Joining the FFRR club from the dark side

Hi Guys
Finally made the move from the RRS to the FFRR. I could not hold back any longer. No more driving down the motorway feeling fantastic only to have that feeling ripped away when a FFRR (proper Range Rover) wafts past me and looks better than i do ! Love the FFRR and have always had Range Rover envy since i bought my RRS in March 2010 new (Buck Blue 3.0 TDV6 SE). was a member of RRSport.co.uk and enjoyed my time there but this is my new home !!

I have traded in for a 2010 10 plate Alaska White 3.6 TDV8 Vogue. extra's include the electric side steps, Logic 7 and DAB, chrome mirror caps and side vents (was not particularly enthused about them but they look really good). However may change them back to stanardr once i start living with the beast. Pick it up next Wednesday and really looking forward to having the motor that i have always wanted.

Any tips or advice on anything to watch out for or not do ?

I think the FFRR looks and stands better than the RRS - is obviously far more luxurious but the main difference is the refinement and engine noise. I thought the RRS was hushed but the FFRR takes it to a completely different level. without doubt its the best car i have ever driven and I have only test drove it for 5 miles.
Cheers
Dave Very Happy Very Happy Finally made it to the FFRR

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Zermatt Silver

Hi there, another new member here.

I just bought a 2007 TDV8 3.6 Vogue in silver with 44k miles.
The car has the following add-on over the Vogue spec:
Bi-xenon adaptive headlights, Tyre Pressure monitoring, Active locking Diff, Webasto Heater Remote to turn on the Heater remotely and Double Glazed windows.

Not sure about the double glazed windows, have some difficulties to understand how they would fit something like double glazing in a car window Rolling Eyes Laughing
But the remote heater is what sold the car to me. I am looking forward to have the car heating and defrosting while I sit in the house and watch.

I will collect the car in 10 days as I am working away in Singapore.
Looking forward to see what the difference is from FFRR to our LR2.
The LR2 is a I6 so does like to suck some fuel.
I hope the FFRR will do better MPG wise than the I6 LR2.

Scotland 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Stornoway Grey

Hi everyone,

I've been reading posts on this site for a while now. I've decided to join and look forward to reading more excellent posts!

Recently bought a 2008, Stornoway Grey, 3.6 Vogue SE. Although its a lovely vehicle I'm not convinced that the seats are as comfortable as my old 2003, 4.4 Vogue or that the engine is as smooth! Just my thoughts.

France

Hello !
I'm a newbie from France.... willing to buy a FFRR within a delay of 0 to 6 months... Model ? a Vogue one, a TD8 if possible but a TD6 might do the job...depends on the budget I want to allow.
I do like RR a lot compared to any other SUV. Sport model ? nooo the real one !
BTW, I own an 77MY XJ-S, so brit cars reliability is something I'm familiar with Rolling Eyes I'm rebuilding the IRS...
I hate spending too much money in an old car... Razz so will try to find the best RR at an unbeatable price...I'm just afraid of our new gov who might "invent" a new road tax for big cars within 6 months....
I'll lurk on the forum to better understand RR and the potential issues I could face....

Thanks for all of your contributions !

NicolasH

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Buckingham Blue

Hi to everyone, i'm Keith from hornchurch, Essex, after 10 years of driving a ford explorer, i decided to upgrade to a range rover, always wanted one, so the one i chose is a 2006 4'2 supercharged v8 vogue SE,in Buckingham blue,
with a "one off" interior, no idea what that means, probably a lie as the git who sold it too me said it had "only 65000 miles" [35000 wiped off] and a full service history, 3 stamps were real, 3 stamps off eBay,[you can buy dealer stamp stuff off eBay apparently!!] very very happy with the car, given it a real full service, including all 8 spark plugs!! wish i had found this site earlier, as i have had to buy a new reverse camera for it, from rimmer bros
and what i paid for it by the looks of things i could have got the latest spec camera plus the leads, brackets etc for the same money!!! i would have introduced myself earlier but i didn't know this part of the site existed till Sunday!
!big thank you to Adrian wiggs who helped me out with a digital tv tuner to replace my old analogue one! RRR didn't even reply to this to this problem when asked, [nor to two others] even though i am a member!! with adrians help and links on how to fit it problem solved inside 10 days, thanks all the guys on this great site keep up the good work!!!
