What is hot and cold monitoring ? I presume it's something to do with checking for a malfunctioning bulb, but not sure of the difference between the two.....

un-install the gap software from the 'program' feature in your computers control panel, then re-install as a new program... ... - .- -. Y. O. L. O. . |

Hot monitoring is when the LCM checks the bulbs when the lights are switched on. Cold monitoring is when the LCM checks the bulbs when the lights are switched off. I guess you will still need some resistors to stop the indicators flashing double speed, or would turning off the checking solve the issues of adding the LED lights in a conversion? Eerrr yeah thanks Craig. Last service last August at 52k. Now at 64.5k.....so the answer is??? Anyway no worries cos Patrick and co have done a fantastic job of adding the feature so I know that the distance to go until the next service is due is about 700miles. Just as you thought?
It really has been an impressive response - not just in engaging with the request but also in the speed and helpful manner in which they've done it. Exemplary guys. Many thanks. Well the obvious answer would be service due in August as its a yearly service if adequate mileage has not been achieved... |

I was driving up to the Isle of Skye yesterday with my family for our summer holiday, the SC was full laden, 4 bikes on the back and was effortless, then the EML light came on but still driving fine...

I think that is an O2 sensor. Won't do any harm in driving with that fault, enjoy your holiday! |
