United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Bonatti Grey

£100 if that for the lettering and a good hand toward a new vehicle...

Specially good if on a black car and white letters, TBH i would cover the front back and side as your list may be a bit longer... Also printing the screen shots out and sticking them to the inside of the windows would help as well...

I'd give them 30minutes after opening time, and if you do it for tomorrow night and park it up 30mins before they open for the weekend influx you'll be onto a winner Smile Also lots of people pickup/dropoff for services on a sat morning Wink

And to Rolo, Sod saving, LR should be doing it as GWG by taking his back and asking for VERY little to move him into a non lemon.

Then take his car back to the line and strip it for parts or work out why the fraggle rock its as duff as my ex's mentality!! Very Happy FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Having done something similar all I can say is make sure you have a bloody good solicitor. Depending on the dealership - they DO. Land Rover Addict

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

If that gets you in to a new car with LR help then thats fantastic, I was told they wold do that for me a few years ago after my engine went bang it a LR Disco 2 ES, I had been a fantastic customer spent thousands each year as the car got service 2 sometimes 3 time a year in this particular dealership in Reading, the Engine blew up just before christmas in 2002 I think they said it would be no more than a week, so I did no take a courtesy car.

Well I got it back in April they said they could not get the engine they needed as LR were changing suppliers I finally spoke to LRCS hey old me nothing had been ordered go figure that Evil or Very Mad Censored

I finally got the LR back & they said they were so sort that they were going to compensate me by gutting me into a new Disco, never happened they said they were working on it, I chased they & they never called back so I bought two Mitsi LWB Shoguns then a Jeep GC Overland back to back over the next few years, so INMOP it cost they tens of thousands in vehicle sales not counting servicing etc.

the story I have mentioned is the very short version it was a hell off a lot worse than I have portrayed.

The only reason I came back to the LR product is I wanted a FFRR TDV8, but I bought it second hand this time rather than new or from a LR dealer Whistle

Good luck Muddy but don't give them any quarter as I can promise you they will take the p155 big time Mutt

At the end of the day its just a car - I am much more laid back about this kind of thing now - before I would have been on the phone every day jumping up and down screaming blue murder but some things can be replaced and I have another car available until this gets sorted Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

LRCS have just informed me dealer principal is finishing today and no longer dealing with my problems Shocked

They seem more interested in selling me a new car than my grievances Rolling Eyes

Dealership are collecting my sick/shoddy repaired sport tomorrow and leaving me a Demonstrator but nobody can tell me what is happening after that. Apparently they have been unable to sort the problems with their vogue so I cant have it back - this does not bode well Sad

Been waiting over a week for details and photos of a 2011 vogue in group that may be suitable subject to figures but still received nothing Evil or Very Mad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Muddy,

Get a solicitor & don't back down, they are hopping you will tire & go away, this is what big companies do, they are all the same twits in suits, companies should be held responsible for there actions rather than thinking they can fob you off, lets face it that what they want.

Get a Solicitor Bow down Mutt

That's pathetic. You should expect at least an 8 to 10% discount from a Brand New price & that's without all the agro you've had.

It's utterly disgraceful Twisted Evil and LR should be jumping through hoops to get you back in the vehicle you paid for.
I don't understand their mentality, because surely all this bad press isn't going top help get sales. If they'd simply done a stunning job on your repair & given some compensation, all would be good Thumbs Up

It's promising that they have decided to let a team member register on a forum to help with concerns, BUT as long as they do some good & not just decide to de-register when a flood of angry forum members give them grief !

I would take the advice of others & get a solicitor on to it now. They've had plenty of time to get it sorted for you & have failed drastically.

Every time I hear of things like this I do start to wonder if I would buy another, so take heed LR, I'm not the only one who looks to spend up to £100K on a new vehicle. For every registered, active member on here there must be a 1000 + more that read the comments posted on these forums.
They'd never see me again if I was in your situation, not unless they really pull the finger out & make it good pronto. All very sad.......... Rolling Eyes

Can you consult a University's free legal unit at all? Many moons ago, Newcastle Poly (yes, that long ago!) ran a legal clinic to give law students some exposure to the problems of troubled citizens. We were supervised by the lecturers, so you were effectively getting first class advice from barristers for free. 2003 4.4 HSE Epsom Green / Sand. Lovely!
