Mick, I was down at Cairnryan a couple of weeks ago and for about a minute the engine never had any power, it was still drivable but seemed to be in limp mode, then it cleared and has been fine until yesterday. I can only think that the pump was the cause hence the reason I changed it and as I already had the filter sitting here I thought I may as well stick it on while I'm stinking of diesel...I did contemplate having a shower, but SWMBO likes it when I'm dirty Laughing Laughing

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged Supercharged Java Black

Drove to Richmond from Leeds via country roads and pass plenty of FF/SS/Skimmed RRs on the way. Was the most relaxing drive I've had for a long time. Now I am sat in a field drinking some Black Sheep Ale I picked up along the way and ready to have a good hike tomorrow. Very Happy

Yesterday:
Ripped out the Nokia phone system that was fitted, including some questionable wiring, and started installing the Parrot system. Still waiting on the adapter wiring loom to arrive before I can full fit it.
I also found the first aid kit under the passenger seat! Mr. Green

Today:
Got the up/down motor working on the steering column and zip-tied the in/out motor as the plastic clip was on the verge of breaking.

Yesterday did the cross country trek to doncater in rush hour and got to the M18/A1 intersection to find the traffic about 2miles back was caused by a 307 that broke down on the inside lane so traffic was queuing all around it.

Poor lass was on her own and very distressed with a sleeping kid in the car as well Sad

Feeling her pain I whipped into the hard shoulder, stuck hazards on and reversed back up and asked her if she was ok and if she wanted a tow off the motorway. She looked a bit shocked at first but said yes so stuck my warning light on the back shelf and hooked the tow strap onto we car and onto my tow ball and pulled her off at a leisurely 15-25mph and got her near doncaster/conisbrough where she would be safe and made sure she has some water and knew where she was and then gave her some fruit snack things incase the nipper woke up before she got rescued.

This week the car has got filthy again from all the standing water it's ploughed thru and some off beat quarrying last weekend as well Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
