Hi thanks for the speedy response, would you go for the 19, 20 or stick with the 18 inch. Any ideas why I would have 265 tyres on my car and not the standard 255?

Hi Stan thanks for the advice, watching some 19 inch ones on eBay. Does the spare have to be the same size wheel etc.

19s are a good upgrade for the TD6 without making for too harsh a ride, also a bit less tyrewall reduces the cornering roll effect

Hi, thanks for your advice just bought a set of 19 inch wheels with tyres. Do I need to have the suspension settings set to anything other than normal before changing the wheels please, may be a silly question but thought I should ask it, cheers. |

Don't know the reason for the vibration with 20s on the TD6, but LR do not recommend fitting them. |

@enumbers, its the change in inertia and stiffness of the wheels allows a torsional resonance through the driveline from the engine firing pulses... ... - .- -.
