Leaky windscreen

Hmmm. I thought by moving up to a FFRR from a 300TDi Disco I would be getting away from water leaks. Disco leaked through body panel overlaps at rh lower screen.
But my FFRR is leaking. It has 2 dribble trails down the inside of the centre of the windscreen when it rains or I wash the car.
Any ideas on a fix?

Please don't use silicon it is a fitters worst nightmare. Find a reputable independent windscreen company and they can if accessible do a reseal from the inside. If you were up his way I'd do it for free so if passing Lincoln ever let me know. The reason generally for leaking at that point is if the previous installer has done a join in the middle and not connected the bead of bond correctly. Personally I usually do one bond line straight across the top to stop anything like that happening. Hope this helps. Very Happy

Thank you very much for your kind offer Windscreen Dave but as I live some 12000 miles away I will unfortunately have to pass on it Wink I am well aware of the silicon issue but think it has become more of a generic term for screen sealant these days.
Is the outer trim removable or is it bonded into the sealant.
I haven't attempted to peel back the front of headlining but I will have a look into that.

Sorry saw Eastbourne and not the NZ sticker underneath lol. I wouldn't try taking top trim out as they don't go back in very easily if at all due to being stuck into bond. Best way is as you said to pull headlining back depending on where the hole is you may need to loosen some of the headlining off by removing sun visors and centre roof console.
