Most of those issues can be easily fixed by loading updated calibration software (via IDS) for the TCM and ECM (transmission control module and engine control module).

The 'groan' at those revs, are you 100% you are not confusing the V8 exhaust note for a problem? Land Rover Addict

Possibly loose heatshield? I'm not sure if there any - but that would be roughly where they are (if they exist!). The only other thing that groans is the FBH (this will cut in at temps below 16 I think), and is there to assist in bringing the coolant up to temperature (and providing a means to heat the cabin!).

Definitely not the FBH. I know that groaning. This is different. More of a drone than a groan (if that is not too subjective!). And, as you say, the FBH noise goes away when everything is up to temp.

Does it occur under load, i.e. if you rev up to 2.245k rpm in the driveway, does it still happen? Land Rover Addict

No. Only under medium or high throttle input when transmission is engaged. I.e. drivetrain under load. -----------------------------------------------
