daytime LED running lights

where is the best place to pick up the positive feed to the daytime lights when the engine is turned on and running, the alternator? have found two skinny wires that go to 12V with the key turned but don't want to hack in and blow an ecu ...... Any suggestions or other locations i should consider? Thumbs Up

daytime LED running lights

problem solved on eBay, switch purchased that operates when the battery voltage exceeds 13V and turns the lights on and switches them off when the side lights are switched on. happy days. Razz

That's a nice little addition with the voltage checker. Thumbs Up Can you link to the product?

Being old school I have got into the habit of never really leaving the car with ignition on for any length of time (overheating coils etc on my old classic cars) plus am super wary of the vagaries of the RR battery (even though its only a couple of years old and a Varta high crank Wink .
