Bought one!

Picking it up Friday after spending a good part of yesterday inspecting, driving and haggling...

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...?logcode=p

Already ordered new 'plates for it and I'll pick up 10 litres of Castrol Edge from Costco later today, purely for my own peace of mind. I'll do a gearbox flush when I get it home as well. Obviously it'll get de-catted and de-EGRd if it hasn't been already and I'll be leaving it at that. Well, except for the 18" winter wheels and tyres. Oh, and I'll want to pick up digital telly - will this work:

And where do I need to be putting it?

So many questions... Laughing

Looks nice. Seems you have most bases covers. I fitted one of the more powerful digital tuners and it's not the best. On the move it's next to useless but stationary it's ok. I will be taking mi e out and replacing my DVD player as I need something more reliable for on the move viewing for my little lad. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Thanks. I've looked at a lot now and despite this one having the highest mileage of any of them it was without a shadow of a doubt the best! After the initial inspection I knew I'd already bought it providing it drove well. It did. Very Happy
The fact that it started straight away after being sitting 'for a couple of weeks' was another positive sign. It's got a detachable towbar which was also a massive bonus, too.

That looks excellent mate. Welcome to the fold.

Re the digital TV, I believe that will work, but you will need the wiring to allow the AV inputs to the existing system, if someones not put it in already. (from the red / white / yellow on the DVB box).

Not done it myself, as I got a genuine hybrid TV tuner from an X5, and just swapped boxes. Not as flexible though, without USB and SD card inputs etc.........

Good luck with your future projects.........

Mk4 Sat nav.........bluetooth..........remap...........egr removal...........crankcase filter upgrade......BM54 amp upgrade........etc Smile

Thanks. Smile
I'll post pics of what's there when I get it home and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm going to try and leave it alone as much as possible, tbh. EGR removal, decat, remap and DAB/freeview upgrades excepted, obviously... Whistle

Whoa! A lot of information in there. At least now I know who to bother with incessant questioning. Laughing
