Well documented on many forums and would seem to work. Has to be a certain spec though or it doesn't work. Something about Jaso FB or FC.

It can be hit or miss and depends how gummed up things already are to be honest.

The things that affect a diesel the most in my experience are oil and filter not be changed every 6k/6months and the air filter.

Also an Italian tune up is really the best way to clear it out properly, getting it hot and hot enough to burn the deposits off and force fuel thru te injectors at their maximum duty cycle and flow rate soon clears them when using biod Wink

To be honest for me it didn't help much other than make the engine quieter and I soon gave it up Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Been discussed a lot on RRS Thumbs Up

I personally would avoid this or anything that could jeopardise a warranty claim Embarassed Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
