smoke on the td6 engine is generally caused by the engine breather assembley not being changed. |

its simple enough to replace, take the engine cover off and look towards the rear of the engine. you need to undo the injector loom to get to it. once you bought your new breather it will be much easier to spot on the engine, its held on the engine by allan headed bolts. heres a link to one on ebay

i to recommend removing the egr valve..better mpg and no smoke.. ... - .- -.

check your oil level cos i think you might be burning it through worn piston rings or valves.. ... - .- -.

Not a fan of the devils fuel but blue smoke could be the turbo oil seals. Better than worn pistonrings and valves but still. OT the best. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
