One extra good thing with the IIDTool is its portability. My recent fault with the gearbox was always cleared and seemingly no record kept when I restarted but by having the tool with me enabled me just to pull over with the engine running and diagnose before it cleared.

i know thats a bit odd as all other faults are held until they are cleared but I can only say what I see - is that from Catchphrase? Geoff

Grüezi Marcel,
Yes, as of FW version 2.17 which will be released to all users at the end of the month.

So if you purchase an IIDTool now by the time it arrives you'll be ready to update Razz

Hi Marcel,
If you do a search for 'IIDTool' on google, you end up with 3 or 4 online shops on the first page of hits. Do compare prices - they vary. Im deutschen Sprachraum ist, glaube ich, noch nichts. But if you have any questions you can mail me auf deutsch if you like. Please send mail to Support@ or GAPTeam@ ourwebsite.com - I'm not always on here and an answer via PM may take a while.

Sorry, I can't give you a more exact recommendation. As a supplier to BP, I love all BP dealers Razz

Hi Rob,
Congrats!

Log in and get your IIDTool activated. DL the manual - all instructions are there.

The new FW (v2.17) has not yet been released - should be in the coming days, tho. You'll have an acct to the ste once you've activated, then all you do is DL the update file when it has been released, run it (exe) and plug the IIDTool in to your pc with a USB>USB-mini cable.

Should not take more than 2-3 mins.

Cheers!

Do the update files work on a Mac or do I need to bring up a Windows VM for this?

Windows only at the moment, tho all of us are into macs / apple in some way shape or form. A Windows VM works well, tho.
