United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue

Can we have the following in English please:-

Equipped with permanent 4-wheel drive and a new132 kW / 180 PS 2.0-litre bi-turbo TDI engine, the 8-speed Amarok does 7.6 litres per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 199 g/km. The 8th gear was configured as a fuel-saving overdrive gear that operates at reduced engine speed.

Performance-wise, 0 to 100 km/h is irrelevant for a diesel-powered pickup truck. What you need is good in-gear acceleration, and the Amarok does 80 to 120 km/h in 8.5 seconds, and tops 179 km/

I am sure these figures are probably good but mean nothing to me
Thanks

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

I drove my cousins new Touareg a couple of weeks ago. As mentioned earlier, its the 3.0 V6 Tdi Bluemotion auto.

At 28mph it was in 6th gear !! As soon as you touched the throttle it changes down, but then it would have to.

8 speed auto. The engine is very smooth and torquey, pulled like a train. Much quicker than a standsrd Td6, but then its 230 ish bhp I think, and much lighter.

The cabin was nice etc, but not as commanding and high up as an RR.

It definately felt more "car like".

Will be a good buy in a few years time......
