I was thinking the same thing, although I haven't had mine remapped or the box flushed. I'm at the stealers later so might ask how much it would cost.

I was told it would be an hours labor for the software updates but since my car has them i don't need it.

it doesnt always effect the remap, i had my software updated recently and it hasnt effect the remap on mine. i asked gary at td5 alive who did the map if it would affect it before taking it in, he said it shouldnt but if it does bring it back for a free install again but luckily it didnt need it. |

I had mine updated today as they changed their mind and said it wasn't up to date (they checked properly this time). The adaptions have definitely cleared so something has been updated. Need to test it out but I'm off to the pub so won't be until tomorrow / friday.
