One Time Rant …. BT are ******'s

Due to moving premises , 6 weeks ago informed BT Local Business whom in turn arranged everything to be carried out on the 11th May (last Friday) , gets a call on Thursday 10th May from BT " Sorry to inform you but the movement of all your equipment cannot go ahead as someone forgot to pass on the details to the BT engineers dept earliest we can do the move is June" and this is them knowing we have to be out of our current premises within the next week.

Spent all day last friday calling the BT movers team and was passed about like a scud book in a boys dormitory.

Even had BT managers saying they would call me back in the afternoon (never happened )

Into the bargain they accidentally cut off our broadband line two weeks back and we lost about £1000 in sales over that specific week-end ( As they thought we had moved ) Rolling Eyes

Even now have phoned umpteen different BT departments this morning to try and get this escalated and get an actual date as now i am paying for two premises and can't move staff to our new place as we don't have any phone lines broadband and such …. Censored Censored Censored Censored

Went down that road , according to Otelo (Ombudsman for Telecommunication) they have to be given a certain amount of time to rectify the problem … minimum time 8 weeks …. Shocked Shocked Shocked

Also sent an e-mail to BT's chairman letting him know about how crap his company is , and looked at a few BT forums , there is a lot of companies that get treated this way and nothing is done about it BT just carry on regardless …. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I'd use it as a chance to move away from BT TBH Mick, this is where other companies excel as BT just think they are so big that customer service doesn't matter and they charge what they like as everyone goes to them.... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

If the loss is their fault and not rectified within their quote SLA then you do get compo, but only for what you pay them IIRC, nothing more unless its agreed in your contract Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

B.T. Bleedin' Tossers.

Nuff said.

But if it's any consolation Mick (and I know it won't be) they're all the same. AT&T are known in our place as A-holes, T1ts & Tossers. They're just all crap to be frank. None of them could organise a shag in a brothel, but hell, why would they? The regulator is a complete toothless tiger and zero threat to them, the competition is doing exactly the same and there is absolutely no incentive to improve.

God help them all when the Japanese telecom companies come over here. 100MB to every house (on fibre) and their cellular network has better call success rates than our 100 year old copper based landline system.
