I think that the seat element was integral with the leather upto 6a9999999 and separate from 7a000001 acording to what i can deduce from microcat. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

it may be worth testing which one back or squab is broken. if its like any other element it will have electrical continuity if good and show none if bust. easily testable with a multi meter.

Is replacing the cover a DIY job or more specialised ? Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
