Dave,

Mine has both,u can tell from china,

The silver plastic has bubbles on it, rough.

But beggars can't be choosers, just awaiting the wider blade

I have an early 2007 so it doesn't have "flip" keys, later ones do so I think they would definitely be a nice to have but all the techie banter on here makes it look a bit "hit and miss" with suppliers as well as technically a bit challenging and there is a risk of the final result being not "as new".
However, Lolo has seemed to find it fairly straightforward to do. So I am a bit confused, that isn't new, but if anyone can simplify that would be great.
I'd be particularly attracted if there existed a "belt and braces" option that enabled me to keep the old keys intact. Geoff

Hi everyone,

well i have given up on the supplier and would NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to buy from them again,

plenty of false promises, but no delivery and now no answer to emails of chasing, so I think best course is to get everyone to get a blade via contacting Daveo directly,

tried to get resolve guys but no luck with supplier at all.

thanks

Ok Rob thanks for chasing anyway. Would it be worth us trying to chase, extra numbers etc? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Gents, it is quite easy to take the blade from the original "old" style key and modify it to fit the flip hinge. That is if you don't mind destroying the old key of course. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
