I took robbo's last one for a friend but when it turned up its missing the key chain bit, he said they came like that but he must have it at his end,will get him to look when he is back. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I have the key chain bit too but I find it v difficult to get a key ring into it, the gap is so small.. Thats why I have ordered this..

does the third button on the remote still open the boot on the newer style key that we have ordered?

hi matt, yes all buttons will work as the original land rover flip. V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

I have an early 2007 so it doesn't have "flip" keys, later ones do so I think they would definitely be a nice to have but all the techie banter on here makes it look a bit "hit and miss" with suppliers as well as technically a bit challenging and there is a risk of the final result being not "as new".

Gents, it is quite easy to take the blade from the original "old" style key and modify it to fit the flip hinge. That is if you don't mind destroying the old key of course. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
