Heater

Can anyone tell me how to prevent the heater blower working when I just popped to the car to get something out, not going anywhere. I seems to do it every time and goes on for ages. It will not turn off, even when I relock the car, light on blower dial is lit. Have I got something set wrong?
It's a 3/12 Vogue SE, going in for 1st service in a week or so, they mentioned FBH software but I don't think that's the same issue, is it?
Thanks

I don't know if this is related but I get something similar. This morning for example, I started the car and reversed it back 2 feet, turned off engine and got back out. The FBH then continued to run for approx 3-5 mins. Normal?

Oops! Sorry Rambles, it's a 3/11 NOT 3/12. Only just got it, was overdue service then! Anyway, don't think there is a fault with the blower, just don't know how to switch it off!

if you've just got it, congratulations !

during the first service, they should check whether all the new FBH software was installed, the new AGM battery, and the level battery management unit.
