United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Well I'd driven 4.4 V8 with Khan exhaust, and TDV8 before I bought my Td6.

Could never afford a TdV8, and the mpg of the petrol made it a definate no no.

Had a V8 classic, and said never again to 11mpg......

In saying that, I'd had a Td5 for nearly 5 years, so the Td6 was nice.

I also thought a 4.4 with LPG was out, as it made something already complicated, even more so.

Personal preference at the end of the day - like everything.

I think at under 9 grand my cars a bleeding bargain considering it's been well maintained and is a nice spec sub 100k. (In for sale section btw - shamless plug ahem!!)

I'm going to be honest the car is not getting used and the mpg in my 911 Turbo is almost twice the RR so thats another reason why it's got to go!! I am going to hold off for a L405 or whatever it is and see what they do to the market before I buy another I think. all smug in my new plug!

I drove TD6 & BMW4.4 V8 before going TD6. In the long run couldn't afford TDV8 and wanted low down torque for towing. Yes V8 was fantastic. Diesel more practical for my needs
