still on the tailgate split. I've squinted with and without glasses on and it still looks like low down. I cannot see any break in the camo on the nearside where we would expect the normal split to be.

Think about the lower tailgate though ... how much do you need it to stick out for it to be useful.

They can use snap on plastic panels to cover the real panel beneath so we will see how close this is later in the year.

Another vote for 'just above the number plate'.

Again, I think that is merely where the finishing strip is. Look at 12MY RRS and RRE and you'll see what I mean. That is a Range Rover common feature I now believe. Both of those have single piece tailgates. |

I think you're right. So looks like it's going to lose the split fold tail gate and have the same sort of set up as the RRS That would leave the D4 as only LR offering this handy seat/table. |

Why would Land Rover do away with one of the fundamental features of a Range Rover? My vote goes for a split tailgate above the number plate in keeping with previous versions I don't think we should be drawn in to comparisons with "pretend" models

the split is deffinately above the numberplate as that is where the straps holding the plate in place go.... Ebay - solves all your problems |

The upper part could cover some of the lower when closed.
