SAT NAV - Time to Destination

Has anybody had this issue which has cropped up recently.

On using the SAT NAV for guidance , the time to destination is way out.

The mileage to distance works fine but for some reason doing any type of journey seems to give me an ETA of 10pm ish!

Help? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

Is thats using the sat-nav or using it simply to show your current position? TDV8 HST Sport **Current**

When using the Satnav to plan a route - this is the only way i think that it shows ETA CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

Yes, I've had similar. ETA seems to be about 10 hours out on occasion. Fiddling with the clock fixes it for a while but I don't know why.

I've pretty much given up on the Sat Nav as it's one of the worst systems I've used. Any handheld is better.

I have seen it be a little off by a magnitude of tens of minutes rather than hours.

IT WORKS!

Yep RealRR your correct, I went to the setting to change the time and the analogue clock suddenly zipped round the match the digital time (which was way out?)

Seems like the analogue? and digital clock had fallen out. Once the digital clock was reset to the correct time , the analogue syncronised to it and the SATNAT eta works fine.

Seems like some of the other settings had reset themselves like the audio settings too?

Perhaps a system blip or reset? CURRENT : FFRR 2012 4.4 TDV8

When you service the car sometimes that happens.
There's something with both clocks that doesn't really work well. The internal clock and the analogue clock.
Out of service I usually have the instrument clock at one time and the anaogue at another, with the consequent nav system confusion.

Today I even had a stranger one. Started the route and had an arrival time of 13:55. Stoped for gas and suddendly after restarting the car it changed to 0:55. Very Happy Very Happy

The systems reset on startup after the gas messed it all up....

On the next car start, after lunch, everything worked fine, go figure....

My advice is, don't bother. Just understand the car, and, it's sometimes own willpower. Thumbs Up
