I'm finally picking up my 2007 S/C next week (have been toying with the idea for months). Very excited!

Hi Daveo - I probably didn't explain myself very well. I was basically looking of a way of removing the standard orange reflector in the headlights.

well i totaly got the wrong end of the stick there i thought he was talking about some from of orange sticker on the front lens. now i am with it i can tell you that you will need to split the light and remove the chrome trims, i have one apart in my garage as i am doing a set of led halos so i can check in the morning.. Perfect, so if I can get hold of a clear reflector it could be a straight swap.

You need a heat gun to melt the glue....

i will be doing a how to tutorial shortly on fitting led halos it will show you how to get them apart, you need to get the light nice and hot, yes i do use a heat gun but i putt the light in front of the oven first to get the temp up, you need to melt the mastic around the lens and pry open slowly making sure you keep it hot.. major tip is to watch out for the mastic it can get messy and you don't want it over the inside.. Craig, that looks well, have you put a light behind it, did you have to split the unit as well... V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

Yes an orange LED trailer marker light and a red one in the rear lights... Cant split the 09> lights by the heat method unfortunately so had to cut it apart and plastic weld it back together Craig |
