Yes, Stono is a 5.0 s/c. BUT, until the new models were released sometime around 2011, we had no idea there was gonna be a paddle shift either, so perhaps the diesel will work. Have you opened up the steering wheel to see whether the little socket exists that you need to plug the paddles into? If the hardware is right, perhaps there is hope for the software.

NB: Still no rotary shift for Supercharged models, including 12MY. The gearbox and stick shifter remains the existing 6 speed one which was updated when the 5.0V8SC was introduced. |

Hi all, new to all things Range Rover! Have fitted the paddles as Ajay has into a 3.6 TDVE 2010 vogue and of course they don't work. Spoke to Craig at cam tech this morning who has confirmed your fears about the software not giving the paddle function or at least it not working. Just wondered how you got on with your mission?. |

I'm still waiting to be able to flash the transmission software with my Faultmate The BBS cogs of development & troubleshooting seem to have slowed more recently It also appears that you have to flash the transmission with the 5.0 SC software and as this point no one can tell me what effect this may have on a TDV8

Just worth noting, I have a 2010 5.0 S/C and I successfully retro-fitted the paddles. However the normal gearbox software for the 2010 5.0 doesn't work with paddles so I used a hybrid version from GAP (Site Sponsor) which has bits of the D4 software to enable the paddle function.
