Amusingly that is the same issue that my 2010 RR had .... it's a dealer fix. They need to sort the window ECUs Land Rover Addict

I had the same prob on my 2008 xf, stratstone replaced both front controllers under warranty, you may be able to persuade them to do the same even if out of warranty if it has been the subject of a technical service bulletin. Mick, it needs a software update on the window ecu. Wifey's was the same from new. It's just too sensitive on the obstruction detection.
