United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Orkney Grey

I think there's only 1 answer - Don't worry about it ! Laughing

it's a Range Rover and is going to cost a fortune to run full stop.

Seriously though, the 4.4 is better mpg than the 3.6, it just depends on your driving.
I've had as low as 18mpg showing for weeks during round town driving, but as good as 34mpg on a run even doing +70mph.
Generally get about 450 miles per fill up, although I never leave that until really empty. I'd take a guess because I'm constantly round town a lot of the time I'm probably only getting 22 - 24 as an average Sad

Yup, that's cause I sometimes get stuck in traffic doing 4 miles in 1 hour Evil or Very Mad
Do that in an SC and it'll go to 9mpg !! Shocked

I cant see how this works Stu? If you are getting 19.3mpg for the full 93 litres then the range will be 400 miles.

I get 100 litres in mine a week and run at 25mpg. This gives a calculated range of 555 miles which is generaly pretty accurate.
You sure your range isnt in km?? 400 miles would be about 643km???

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

Looked at handbook and it states diesel 97 litres petrol 101 litres, 2010 my 2011.

Looked at the RRs on fuelly and I have more miles on my RRs on my spread sheet than they have in total.

Its all to do with the feeling when you press the pedal and feel the punch in the back and the look on the face of the people in the car alongside as you out drag them with a huge van on the back.

Must learn to slow down and drive like a retired gentleman, only 4 weeks till that happens, the retired bit maybe not the slow down bit.

Ian

Yep pretty sure it's miles what I didn't mention was I use bio in the rover and go for a gentile drive down the 74 thats what gives me my readings the rest of my running is town and very very short journeys (2.5m) max so that's where the 19.3mpg comes into play, heres an instance i went to Newcastle last weekend on a full tank of bio the range was 634miles set the cruise to 70mph did the rounds then home the following day with 342miles to spare
