Removing the cd changer

Hi all, I bought the Intravee for the wires birthday and have now gotten round to fitting it but have fallen at the first fence Crying or Very sad How to remove the existing cd changer, do I really have to remove all the glovebox? One post on here says it slides out but I've tried and can't get it to budge.
Any help appreciated or anyone know of a competent fitter near Colchester?
Cheers
Simon

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

There is some info here ;

If I see anything more useful, I'll post......

RAVE doesn't seem to have much in on that.......

Bit more here ;

Range Rover CD Changer Removal.

Parts required.
Torx-20 driver
Torx-25 driver
Screw driver

Open the Glove box and start removing Torx-20 screws. The latch is held on by 2 Torx-25 screws. Then pop out the glove box light and unplug

Remove the trim cover underneath the glove box and the 3 Torx-20 screws

Remove panel on the side next to the door.

This panel snaps into place. Picture shows the location of the ‘snaps’.

Remove the panel on the other side of the passenger foot well. One Torx 20 screw and a few ‘snaps’ hold this one in place.

Location of the ‘snaps; on passenger’s side panel

Panel removed.

Remove the panel on the other side of the glove box so that the glove box can drop out of the way. Be very careful not to force anything and go slowly.

Lower the glove box and make sure all wires are disconnected except the 2 wires going to CD changer.

Wiring to the CD changer has LOTS of slack. Pull the slack out from behind the CD Changer.

Remove the Torx 20 screws on either side of glove box to free CD changer tray.

Once the CD changer tray is free remove the 4 Torx 20 screws on both sides of the CD changer to free the CD changer from the bracket.

Disconnect plugs (carefully pull the small oddly shaped 3 pin plug and squeeze the sprung sides of the square 6 pin plug. See below. (The 3 pin plug is to the left, the view of the square 6 pin plug is partially blocked by the wires for the 3 pin plug.)

Installation is a reverse of removal! Make sure you test everything before putting everything back in place!

I have the LR PDF guide too if it of any help.
It was my CD Changer that just pulled out, but from what I can remember, it was only very early cars that had this benefit.
