Australia 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zermatt Silver

The 45 MPG would be nice but the rubber bands on the huge rims look ridiculous but no doubt will appeal to some. 2002 L322 4.4 V8 Vogue

In the flesh it will look a lot more "normal" and will have various Tyre/Wheel choices as always.

I may be wrong but I am betting that once in the showroom and not in imaginations/artist impressions it will be much in demand.

Front is a fussy mess.

I think the exaggerated arches and sill line in the render show artistic licence compared with the camouflaged cars (the last thing a Range Rover should be is pumped and flared), but hopefully that dreadful Evoque-style fake plastic sump guard thing won't be painted silver.

Can those vertical lines in the door (which look more widely-spaced on the mules) really be an entirely extraneous reference to the old wing vents?

I like it. I agree that the front looks a bit messy. But I think the lower half be tidied up. Daniel

The shadows on the sills and arches look a bit exaggerated in the Autocar impression (which appears to be based on the following photo but reversed), but but there's not a huge amount of room for manoeuvre when there are virtually undisguised cars running around:

I'll wager that the Autocar impression is pretty accurate given that there's little left concealed on the prototypes.

To me, a primary attraction of the RR is its 'restrained elegance' looks.

The L405 doesn't appear to be heading that way and does appear fussy. It may suit a RRS, but I don't think it's cricket for a FF.

Still, one hopes it will look better when launched and I do hope those black bumper-level grilles are dummies. Si. <This is my name.
