Link should work now. Basically it's 2006/56 Vogue TDV8 in Stornoway Grey with Parchment Oxford leather, 65K miles, December 2006, for £29850. Dealer is Guy Salamon at Wakefield.

Similar car (and mileage) in Buckingham Blue for £31990 Duckworth Boston

If either of the links don't work, have a look at the Land Rover Approved Used site

Second one is very like mine but mine had 39k mls and I got it for £32k.

The problem with the miles is your budget mate Sad

If you look at ones for £40k on the same year the miles are lower - no Censored I hear you say but sometimes we forget the obvious.

Your going to have a hard time finding a TDV8 with lowish miles for 30K that's also in good condition when you get there Confused

I paid £37500 for mine in November with 18k on it in very nice, clean condition, but I viewed at least ten before I bought this one - they just weren’t upto the mark.

So remember, when these cars are priced its on miles and condition.

It will be easier (but both will be hard) to find an SC especially as you want the screens in the back. '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto for the Mrs

you are a mind reader doc! I was just going to say that perhaps I may have better luck with the Supercharged as they have factory screens as standard I believe.

And..

Although the Supercharged is more expensive when new, I've heard a few dealers say they are "the kiss of death" and many dont want to touch the petrol range rovers. So buying used, you can actually find the Supercharged (year for year - miles for miles) cheaper than the TDV8 - basically they were saying that the 4.2 petrol Supercharged depreciates faster than the TDV8 - so there comes a point when buying used that the Supercharged is actually a cheaper option than the diesel (even though its a more expensive car when new)

Is this true do you think? I'd be happy with either (petrol doesnt bother me at all) so do you think I should be focussing on a Supercharged?

I had a Sad moment about an hour ago - I think the penny dropped that I simply can't afford a RR at the moment. I'll keep looking in the short term, but have a sinking feeling im gonna end up with a Sport. I dont like the idea of having a pre 56reg Range Rover anymore as the more I see the interior the more I think it looks a bit dated - and that makes me think if i'm gonna get 2002 design then why pay £28k for it (I may as well save a fortune and just buy a 2002 and stick a front grill on it) Confused

Sorry mate I never meant to knock you off your cloud but Range Rovers are just hard to buy in "as new" condition or anything close to it for cheap money with low miles Rolling Eyes

If I were you I'd only be looking at the SC to get the spec you want - you should get one - you just need to hit the sellers on the nose a little Thumbs Up

Or

Buy the TDV8 from the LR garage on the previous page for £30k done 67 miles and get the screens fitted - but again I think you may be in for a shock when you check out the condition of the car as this price Confused '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto for the Mrs

Not the headrests for sure, but the comfort feature on the earlier seats is nice. I just prefer the simplicity of the earlier interior as BMW intended. The later one is too fussy in the detailing IMO. Smile
