How hard is it to remove the woofer, as I have read some posts here and haven't had much joy finding out of its worth the hassle..I'll also have a look to see if its just a loose bolt..

Are you sure its the sub?
Do you have a rear parcel net attached ? If so remove it and try listening to a bassy* song and see if it still vibrates

I had "sub-woofer " buzzing until I looked closely and found an aerial connector/amplifier bolted right next to it on a single bolt bracket was resonating, with the loose end touching the steel body of the car creating the noise.
Bent the bolted bracket back so the connector thingy couldn't touch the car steelwork, problem solved.

No rear parcel net, I'll do some investigation later to confirm..

My Sub kept undoing itself ... check the securing bolts and use a bit of locktite to avoid it reoccuring. Land Rover Addict

Lolo, the powerfuluk one is an OE part, i have fitted them to my customers cars to replace shot subwoofers and can confirm they are a 100% fit (as long as yours has one large sub not two small ones)

I replaced mine too (was not even blown!) but at that price, i knew it was just a matter of time before mine went... Sold my old one for £55 on the bay... Result i say!!!

Grab them before he runs out of stock if i were you...

Removing the sub is not too difficult. I had that panel off more than once - but it's been a while. The guy in this thread says you have to remove the c-pillar trim but I'm pretty sure I didn't. What I wrote up is in the thread.
