2015 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aruba

Fitted new front struts yesterday. Put the 19" summer wheels on. Runs level now. ( phew )

Re-charged the air-con this afternoon. Ahhh, nice cold air again ... bliss for £16 ... but found the new problem:

Problem was the engine kept stalling when I was re-charging it and its been faultering when coming to a stop ... plugged in the diagnostics -> Air Flow sensor kaput. Sensor now unplugged and running smoothly again till the new part arrives.

ruddy RR's. will it never end. V8 or else ...

Yeah ... the struts were a result of me having problems with the sensor readings ... whilst faffing with the car on the diagnotics, I raised to off orad height and hiiissssssssssssssssss

the wife was watching and says gleefully .... hey its leaking. ... look Smile

The smile wiped off her face when I told her how much .... :rolllaugh so yeah, a few £££, but a lot cheaper when bought from the island4x4 chaps. the job wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. V8 or else ...

Now it's looking a bit more like it should after a quick once over with wax.

If I do say so myself, it doesn't look like a car with 120,000 miles on the clock!

I took my 9 year old son off to Suffolk to help with an upcoming LR magazine feature of the first ever Discovery 2 rechassis.

Trip was nearly 400 miles and my V8 FF did a pretty good 21.4mpg.

Found that travelling at 80mph actually improved the fuel economy over driving at 70. Si. <This is my name.

Well its booked in again with the local indie to get the passenger air suspension strut done. Should of had them both done together but it was straight after christmas, and the other side did wait 2 months for me before it went.

Seems to look more menacing sat on the drive with the front end right down on the bump stops! Reformed

I drove around the Cambourne wildlife park today in preparation for the Cambourne 10K fun run in 2 weeks time. It was nice to get off road again. I got some puzzled / annoyed looks from the dog walkers Twisted Evil
