Easiest way would be to use one of those fuse adapters on the front fuse that supplies the feed for the accessory sockets and ten it could be run up the a pillar and tucked into the head lining

It's a long run. but you could tap into the live ignition feed in the left hand boot cubby (feeds the radio) then run it up through the C pillar and then the headlining. Or under the carpets and tread plates to the lower A pillar cover then up.

@mr pleb and joe, thought about the run from a live of a ciggy socket but i thought there might be a 'tap in' at the interior light cluster so as to save that hassle .. found this on the d3 site and this bloke uses a fuse adaptor thingy

You could always find an ignition controlled spare fuseway on the front fuseboard and plug into the live terminal with a male spade connector, then use an in-line fuse which could be located behind the cover of the fuseboard.

Stan... If you have an "incident" does it stop recording automatically? Or in the heat of the moment, or battle!, if you forget to tell it to stop and save, will it just record over the "event"? Previously..

@nicedayforit, probably the best way to go as i dont think there's an ignition feed in the interior light cluster
