Fitted new battery this morning, still not winning. Fault code PO501 vehicle speed sensor range / performance. Car still will not start like its getting no fuel. Old Ducati electrics can usually be fixed with a scotch block connector and a whizz of wd40, wish this was in the same place. |

How much fuel do you have in your tank?

Had similar issue with my 2005 TD6. After running perfectly car refused to start. Turned out to be no fuel coming through due to faulty fuel pump relay on fusebox - a few quid and 2 minute fix. With any luck your problem may be the same. |

Most likely your fuel pump in the tank has died. |

Back on the road again. The new battery I was supplied was also a dud, so I ended up chasing my tail. Another new battery fitted and all is well (today) |
