After two months, 6 visits to the dealers (lookers), £1500 of someone else's money (Thanks Warranty Direct), I now have a fully working FBH. It fired up on the timer. It heats the cabin. It warms the coolant. I can start and stop it with the key fob.

And....... relax.

I'm on my 3rd trip to Lookers for FBH issue, must be 1/2 through the process then

took me 1 year.....2 dealers (who both declared there was no problem) and a visit from the experts from LR itself before I got my FBH sorted.

but it only runs for 17 minutes which in the current cold does not even clear the windscreen
minus 10 this morning

i shall be going back to LR HQ to let them know that 17 minutes does not "cut the ice", so to speak and literally

Happy to say that fault has been found and I'll get the car back when its fixed and not before. Must admit the customer care at Lookers Battersea has been good so cant grumble there.

FBH problem solved, brand new unit put in courtesy of LR warranty.
