FSR?

Guys,

I've done the searches, and not found the answer. I have an issue with my heating and I suspect FSR, but am not sure.

When on auto, very little air seems to come out of anywhere. If I use the manual controls, I get air out of the relevant vents.

Occasionally the heating will just switch off completely.

So does this sound like FSR?

Cheers,

Sounds like it to me.

Check the connections first, and that the FSR is properly seated in its slot.

I've written to LR to ask them to locate the FSR on their new model in a more inaccessible place Mr. Green .

What sort of age do these things pack up?

On auto my fan speed has a dicky moment every two or three minutes then resumes normal service. A little like if you flipped the fan speed up to maxfor a second then returned to auto.

Thoughts...............?

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Adriatic Blue

I have got an 02 td6 with 154,000 miles on the clock.

When I bought it (148k) the fan wouldn't work.
the guy at the dealers played with the plug and it came on. Luckily I watched what he did as it kept going off.
I eventually bought a chunk of harnness and had it spliced in to the original as you can't get a new plug.

It appears that the pins are too small for the power going through them and it melts the plug.

Gave up on the dealer (thornham car sales near Rochdale, and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole again)
