I've just bought some 2008 19" wheels for my 04 TD6

What I need to know is, do I have to change the wheel nuts

From what little I know, you just need the smaller black nuts from your pre-2005 model to fit the later wheels.

yes pre 06my have different wheel nuts - assuming they haven't been changed by a previous owner already.

these have silver nuts that look different to mine???? RANGE ROVER 04 TD6

You do need different nuts. PM to Dan at Duckworth parts, he'll get the right part for you Graham

The older black nuts are narrower - so whilst they may appear to fit they will loosen and vibrate dangerously

Ive gone for these because Ive got a TD6 and have the vibration issue

I put these on my TD6, you wont get any vibe issues, they ride well and look good.

You definitely need the newer silver wheel nuts for post 2006MY -look on eBay Discovery 4 HSE

I'll get some ordered then.

The vibe issue is when I'm in drive and pull up at lights etc
Car builds up a vibration due to wheels bigger than 18s

But think I've sorted it and I'll be doing a post
