Been looking at this at the temp gauge the last few weeks

should'nt do that...mine goes up to halfway and stays there....your conversion seems to be the contributing factor.. ... - .- -.

I'm sure it stopped centre before the conversion.

coolant level would be my first thing to look at and any wires going to sensors etc to see if they are loose.. ... - .- -.

All checked and in good order no cracks etc.

not sure but i would check the engine coolant sensor, the connections to the viscous fan [does it work?] and most probably the thermostat.. ... - .- -.

Coolant sensor is in header tank and that's fine.

according to 'rave' its located here.. The thermostat is integral to the coolant pump housing on the inlet side of the cooling circuit.

Better than your French maybe, than you English, I would like... I think It can be the thermostat, because if it stay open, all the coolant run through the engine and the radiator ; it means that It can take a while untill the temperature is correct. After that, when you drive the car, your speed contribute in coolant system by aerodynamic. If your thermostat stay open, the liquid coolant can't stay warm by staying in the motor |
