Fitted new wiper blade but still smeared wipe and scuffs

Hi all

I replaced the both front wiper blades a few months ago because the ones fitted left the screen smeared when wiping. I also adjusted the position the wipers rest whilst I was on.

The passenger side wiper still smears when wiping (the drivers side wipers great) and to add to the misery I'd say the wiper blade is slowly scuffing the screen when it reaches its max wipe position as I am starting to see a scuff line on the glass.

I fitted genuine LR blades so didn't expect problems (dare I say that), anyone here find this with theirs?

The angle of the blade relative to the screen looks ok, not sure if this may be an issue, if it was wrong would the blade scuff aswell as wipe poorly? My last blades were shot so I can't compare.

Thanks

Carl

Have you tried cleaning the glass really well? Use something like meths on the windscreen to remove oily residues?

My wipers are new and are genuine land rover blades too yet I get slight smeared, nothing too bad but I would have thought you would be getting it on both sides.

High possibility it's the LD blades, Mick says they are merde. http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic7647.html Laughing
