Towed the van from Peebles down to Bury on Wednesday in the high winds, rock steady and returned over 18 mpg at a steady 60 mph, should get a bit more when no wind.

Thats strange that has happened coz those four new alloys and tyres were just put on about two weeks previous to me trading that SC in as i got them from Dan @ duckworths and while they were getting put on i also got National tyres to do an alignment on the car and they were lucky to even have covered 1000 miles since getting put on ====================================

Strange - I thought that they were pretty new. I only checked them as it seemed to be a bit skitish in the recent wet weather. Found the inside half of tread to be about 1mm off the wear indicator. Anyway, feels better now but has left me with steering wheel slightly off centre! |

Fitted a battery isolating switch, now all I have to do is turn a key for the inevitable reset instead of looking out the socket set. Magic. |

dis-connecting and re-connecting the battery sometimes solves dash errors and other electrical problems.. re-booting the cars ecu system is like re-booting your home computer....normal way to do this is to get the spanners out and take off a battery terminal, N.D.F.I. has bypassed this process by putting a switch inline. ... - .- -.
