2006 Range Rover Autobiography Supercharged Zambezi Silver

Jonte, I take it that you don't need to but the Land Rover Tow module with this kit ?

Does it all work OK as a plug and play ?? Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

Everything was with the kit, just plugs straight in. If you look at the instructions (linked from eBay site) it shows you what's included, and where to mount everything.

I guess fitting could be done in less than 10 minutes.

To be honest, I haven't actually tried it yet Embarassed I only bought for a bike rack - which I have yet to get..

Have a look here: http://www.pfjones.co.uk/tow-bars/tow-bars...wbars.html

You pays your money, you makes your choices Thumbs Up

The specific wiring loom they offer should be the westfalia version with the land rover module Thumbs Up

I bought my detachable towbar from these guys, it came with the Landrover logos on it and the storage unit as well Thumbs Up

Westfalia is the oem fitted by land rover. They make the metal bits and the wiring kit, fits as intended with all the extras.
http://www.westfalia-automotive.de/index.php?id=home&L=1 search here for the stuff will have fitting instructions in pdf for you to look at, then order from the cheapest source - Towequipe, Pfjones, e-bay, etc.

yes, got mine from PFjones - westfalia OE dedicated plug play kit for FFRR

you need:

armature + detachable ball bit - £350 ish but OE look when not in use - this is the OE option
or
armature + fixed tow hitch etc (cheaper) £120 but its there permanently stuck out at back of car

electrics kit - dedicated westfalia kit inc Tow ECU - £87 for 7 pin (a bit more for dual/13 pin)

I only wanted to fit a big bike carrier onto the tow hitch, and not worried about having a permanent tow ball, so went for the cheap option - £120+87 all in, then £80 for a 4 bike carrier (Witter) cheers
