All you need – 111 viewsA Torx scredriver and a decent small torch are all you need.
Remove sill plate and door side scuff panel – 125 viewsRemove sill plate (lift up) being careful of sharp corners and edges. The plastic locating pins slide in the channel underneath the plate so be careful. The 3 black plastic clips in the floor are easily bent and displaced so don\'t stand on them.
The door side scuff panel is removed by pulling reawards on the panel - a tongue fits a groove in the carpet, and two red locating plugs (on the base of the A-pillar) slide into clips on the panel.

Nav TV Wiring plugged into IHU wiring – 118 viewsSimply plug the ends of the wiring loom supplied in between the two connectors - leaving the white plug for the Nav TV unit
Space on left of IHU for Nav TV unit – 104 viewsYou can see the space here on the left of the IHU (underside of wiring controller) against which the Nav TV module can be fixed.
Nav TV wiring in situ – 112 viewsHaving installed wiring back in to recess, the wire was passed over the top of the IHU - and ends in the white plug - Box plugs to this.
Nav TV Box secured by sticky velcro – 122 viewsBox sits neatly in recess to left of IHU
Remove the side panel and wood trim (in this case Black Piano Wood) – 134 viewsRemove the screw to the left of the picture, then carefully unclip the rest of the panel. Caution - some force is needed, and the clips are fragile - and can escape at some speed past you through the open doorway (APPARENTLY) ;-)
Remove Kick Panel – 131 viewsThis panel is removed by removal of three screws that are located along the edge of the lower glove box.
Careful of wire for footwell lamp – 137 viewsGently unplug this wire to allow removal of kick panel
All footwell panels cleared out of the way – 128 viewsThis is what you need to get to before sticking your head into the footwell...
Underside of IHU – 124 viewsThis is what you see if you manage to stuff your head at an unnatural angle in the passenger footwell... note space on left, and wiring on right.
IHU cables as found under kick panel – 118 viewsThis picture was taken just after removal of the kick panel - and the connector can be clearly seen
