12 - Lever back the plastic tabs carefully and ease the lamp housing from the glass housing

as you can see the lamp housing is in a bit of a state. The original "paint" is all but gone, and the, I guess, alloy housing has badly corroded. Take care with the plastic tabs holding the housing lugs in place, the glass housing plastic is quite brittle and the tabs can easily snap off (he says with experience)
